How it works

Epass24 is appointed by the Swedish Transport Agency, to identify and carry out monthly invoicing and related payment collection from owners of foreign registered vehicles.

Congestion tax are charged for passages in Stockholm and Gothenburg, as well infrastructure fees on the Motala and Sundsvall bridges.

The system uses ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) cameras which provide seamless and fully automated detection and registration of vehicles passing through toll stations, which means you can drive without stopping.
